7:40-8:10 Guest Speaker - Melissa Barron, Project Manager
Newport Construction LLC - Come see the site plan for 310 10th Street, the next Newport Associates building that will be built on the 10th Street Embankment. The redevelopment plan for the area requires that the developer build 1 parking spot per unit however the developer is requesting to build 96 parking spots instead of the required 163. The request for the change will go before the planning board on 2/9/16.
8:10-8:40 Guest Speaker - Councilwoman Candice Osborne - Candice will share her ideas for improving parking in the neighborhood. One of which is to include our neighborhood in extending the enforced street parking hours. This would potentially make it easier for residents to return home after work and find parking.
