If you’d like to view the exhibit doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the Tree Canopy Study presentation starting at 7 PM.
The Environmental Commission acknowledges and appreciates the efforts of Division of City Planning, the Department of Public Works, and the Green Infrastructure Center (GIC) in preparing this much-needed and well-informed assessment. GIC's expertise and the public interest and participation proved to be invaluable to the study and the final deliverable. The public forums demonstrated the importance tree canopy has to our Wards. The report is key in capturing findings and recommendations in maintaining and improving tree canopy as a long-term mechanism for providing environmental and financial benefits. The Commission now seeks partners to initiate and execute next steps. Please join us to learn about the assessment and how to take action.
