    There is a restaurant being proposed for the corner of Pavonia and Erie next to Cordero. The developer is presenting at the HPNA meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday 7:30pm Cordero.

    HPNA Membership Card Photo Contest

    Once again the HPNA will be conducting a photo contest for the 2015 membership card design. All are encouraged to submit images from in and around Hamilton Park that capture the spirit and character of our great neighborhood!

    Submissions will be accepted through Dec 15th via hpnajc@gmail.com. Enter your photos today!

    The Big Dig 2014
    This year the Jersey City Parks Coalition’s Big Dig distributed 90,000 Daffodil Bulbs citywide to residents to plant where blooms will be seen by the public.

    200 bulbs paid for by a $100 donation from the HPNA were planted in Children's Community Circular Garden.

    650 bulbs were planted in the mulched Flower Beds by the fountain, provided by donations from the HPNA, Silverman, & Armagno Agency.

    100 bulbs were distributed to the 9th Street Block Assoc

    100 bulbs were planted in the Enos Jones Children's Playground John De Salvo Community Garden by neighborhood participants.
    East District Police Department
    Holiday 'Shop with a Cop'

    This year the Jersey City Police East District will take125 less fortunate children between the ages of 5 and 12 on a “shopping spree”, also known as Shop with a Cop. They plan to provide a $100 Target gift card to each child to shop with a parent or guardian and a Police Officer.

    The E.District will accept Target gift cards, in any denomination, until Fri, Dec 12, 2014. Gift cards may be dropped off at the E.District attn: P.O. Dina Lionakis.

    Gift card donations of any value will make a difference this holiday season to a little one in need.

    Free Bags will be available to residents (bring proof of residency) at the following locations until December 19th:

    M-F 8am – 8pm M-F 9am-4pm
    Sat 9am-3pm

    Put your leaf bags out Wed nights for early morning collections on Thurs 12/ 4th, 18th,& 25th

    DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGS FOR YOUR LEAF DISPOSAL
