HPNA has recently been contacted by a developer that will be asking the City to amend the Jersey Avenue Park Redevelopment Plan (RDP) to carve out an exception for a lot located west and behind the 14th St. Garden Center. The current and ironically named Jersey Avenue Park Redevelopment Plan designates the area for warehouse, industrial, hotel and other uses. The developer is seeking to amend the plan to allow for residential in the area shaded gray in the photo below. We will hopefully know more after the developer presents at the September meeting and be able to provide further details.
